Goal

If you need to archive log files in an automated way, it is a good idea to use the smsLogCleaner. The smsLogCleaner is a binary - launched from a cronjob - that is configured to manage specific files.

smsLogCleaner archives based on two parameters:

smsLogCleaner looks for old or large files in the particular directory, any files found there will be moved into the archive subdirectory and purge them from the originating directory.
