IPSA GUI Client Refuses To Connect Through a VPN (Doc ID 1329505.1)

Goal

The Customer has a requirement to connect to the IPSA GUI via a VPN/firewall due to internal security restraints. While this method is officially unsupported it is a means of accomplishing the task.

In the event that device audits are also failing refer to the document below on how to work around it.

If IPSA audits fail when using this tunneling method refer to the following doc for further information,

IPSA cannot run audits, when using ssh tunneling is configured between UI and policy server (Doc ID 1335658.1)
