Goal

Oracle provides a set of standard tools to assist with the conversion of legacy data to Customer Care and Billing.

They are:

ConversionCentral , a tool traditionally used for mapping and loading legacy application data to a CCB staging database.

The Conversion Tool, a framework for validating and augmenting staging data, and for migrating the data to a production CCB database.

The ERM to CCB Migration Toolkit utilizes these tools to provide a packaged migration that should require minimal modifications for any given ERM to CCB migration effort.
