Eip Processing Reports On Random/Different Servers (Doc ID 1334961.1)

Goal

Qn1:
Customer is having issues with EIP processing reports on 2 different servers/environments. Currently there are 2 test environments (T1 & T2) that are completely independent of each other. Each one of them has their own individual BI Publisher setup, IIS Server, individual EIP Installation(s) and  they reside on different systems/servers.
If a report is run on T2, it is noticed that the report tends to run/execute off the T1 server using the T1 copy of the report.


Qn2:
Could you please give details around how the DB knows where (which servers) there are instances of lsreportmonitor running? Customer is not clear on how a report that is kicked off on server A,  can run on Server B. How does the DB or report know what data source each server is pointing to?
