Eip Processing Reports On Random/Different Servers (Doc ID 1334961.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 07, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Billing Component - Version DNU4.53 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Customer is having issues with EIP processing reports on 2 different servers/environments. Currently there are 2 test environments (T1 & T2) that are completely independent of each other. Each one of them has their own individual BI Publisher setup, IIS Server, individual EIP Installation(s) and  they reside on different systems/servers.
If a report is run on T2, it is noticed that the report tends to run/execute off the T1 server using the T1 copy of the report.

Could you please give details around how the DB knows where (which servers) there are instances of lsreportmonitor running? Customer is not clear on how a report that is kicked off on server A,  can run on Server B. How does the DB or report know what data source each server is pointing to?
