Purpose
When monitoring, MTA queues often show some number of messages in an outbound SMTP channel queue, such as tcp_local, and they are not due to messages failing with temporary errors and being requeued for later retry, how do you tell:
Why they are there ?
How long does it take to process individual messages ?
What can be done about it ?
