Goal

From January 1st, 2011, any billing system that is in place in Portugal needs to comply with a new legal requirement.
Software Providers are obligated to ensure that their billing solutions are in accordance with the requirements specified in the Law and submit the certification application process on the website of DGCI from September 2010.
This requirement can imply changes in the product and a certification process to make sure that the product is compliant.
