MCCPP5 - Copy Plan

Symptoms

On : 11.5.10.2 version, Memory Based Planner

When attempting to run Copy Plan - MCCPP5 the following error occurs:

Statement with the error:
declare l_applsys_schema Varchar2 ( 32 ) ; l_retval Boolean ; dummy1 V
7277240/msc/lib/mslcpp.pc

APP-FND-01564: ORACLE error 955 in mrctbdt_copy_table_data
Cause: mrctbdt_copy_table_data failed due to ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object
ORA-06512: at "SYSTEM.AD_DDL", line 160
ORA-06512: at line 1

The SQL statement being executed at the time of the error was: declare l_applsys_schema Varchar2 ( 32 ) ; l_retval Boolean ; dummy1 V and was executed from the file 7277240/msc/lib/mslcpp.pc.

If the users rerun copy plan, it's successful so the issue is intermittent


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run an existing ASCP plan
2. Create a new plan name
3. Run Copy Plan
4. Error occurs

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot copy the plan. Thus they cannot keep historical plan data for use/review in the future if questions arise
