Messaging Manager Statistics are Not Recorded (Doc ID 1343424.1)

Symptoms


Processes statistics are periodically gathered by smsStatsDaemon process which runs on SMS (Service Management System), SLC (Service Logic Controller) and VWS (Voucher Wallet Servers) nodes. Gathering defined statistics is executed depends on collection mode which can be selected when you create new statistic or editing existing one.


To open Statistics Viewer, login to the SMS Screen and navigate to the following screen:
Operator Functions -> Statistics Viewer


Once opening the Statistics Viewer screen there were no statistics shown, where actually the SLC is carrying traffic. The picture below shows that there were no records (value is zero) for all the Messaging Manager statistics:

Messaging Manager version 4.0.3.3 or up has been installed.
