Last updated on MARCH 03, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Communications ASAP - Version 4.7.2 to 7.0.2 [Release 4.7 to 7.0.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Can you please confirm that ASAP has an inbuilt mechanism to process orders in First in First out fashion?
Is the parent/child relationship the only way to setup dependency between work orders?

The brief context is that under huge load, some orders are accepted by system but not processed immediately while  orders which come later are getting processed immediately. In suspend/resume order case, a suspend workorder gets processed later than a resume order, which results in the service for customer remaining suspended.
