Calmaster: Permission Denied Error (X-NSCP-WCAP-ERRNO = 28) When Performing WCAP Operations (Doc ID 1363305.1)

Symptoms

The user uses login.wcap to get a session ID.
Calmaster authentication issue when performing WCAP operations, e.g.

  1. Go to http://calendarserver/login.wcap?fmt-out=text/xml&user=calmaster&password=password
  2. Copy value of X-NSCP-WCAP-SESSION-ID
  3. Go to http://calendarserver/fetchcomponents_by_range.wcap?id=[FromStep2]&fmt-out=text/xml&dtstart=20100601T150000Z&dtend=20111231T160000Z&calid=[anyothercalendar]
  4. Value of X-NSCP-WCAP-ERRNO = 28

The error means:

ACCESS_DENIED_TO_CALENDAR 28 Command failed. The user is denied access to a calendar
