Symptoms

A BRM instance has been installed without partitioning. The script from non-partitioning to partitioning has been executed as it was mentioned in the documentation, and then partition_utils has been executed to add the real-time or delayed partitions.

For example:

partition_utils –o add –t delay –s (today + 2 days) –q 4 -u month
partition_utils –o add –t delay –s (today + 2 days) –q 4 -u month -f
partition_utils –o add –t delay –s (today + 2 days) –q 4 -u month –c /event
partition_utils –o add –t delay –s (today + 2 days) –q 4 -u month –c /event/%

But, there were errors in partition_utils.log:

PINPARTITION_ERROR_NO -20017
ORA-20017: PARTITION_LASTPartition not exists in table TMP_PROFILE_EVENT_ORDERING_T
BEGIN PIN_PARTITION.add_partitions_exec(FALSE, TRUE, TRUE); END;
