Error on the “Case Search Criteria” windows on Argus 7.0 Production

Getting the attached error screen when doing a search on the “Case Search Criteria” window on Argus 7.0 Production environment.

Error No: -2146233088 Description: ORA-30554: function based index
ARGUS_APP.IDX_DUP_SEARCH_DATA is disabled ORA-06512: at
"ARGUS_APP_.PKG_TEXT_SEARCH", line 70 ORA-06512: at line 1



e.g.



Confirmed from DBA that "Both the package and index are available and compiled with no errors."

Steps to reproduce the error:

  1. Case Actions
  2. New
  3. Entered in a few fields that matched a case I had previously entered
  4. Click "Search" to begin searching for the duplicate case.
  5. Error message appears  e.g.
