Supply And Demand View Is Missing The Move Order Demand For WIP
(Doc ID 1397527.1)
Last updated on JANUARY 30, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Materials Requirement Planning - Version 12.1.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On : 12.1.1 version, Inventory Supply Demand
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
In the inventory supply demand window the move order allocation does not reduce the available qty
When a WIP order is component pick released the Supply and Demand screen shows the Move Order Allocations and the Move Order Supply but not the WIP order. (which is how I believe Oracle is supposed to work at this stage).
Move Order Allocation however does not reduce the on hand qty at that point because the task is still unreleased. It also does not reduce the qty in the Available qty column on the supply demand screen.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
expect the available qty to be calculated correctly
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
WIP Order is component pick released with the Transact Move order in an Unreleased state waiting in the Control Board for release at the appropriate time.
View the Supply/Demand session for the component item.
The WIP order is not visible on the Supply Demand. The Current on hand and start available qty are the same.
The supply demand types are Move Order Allocations does not deduct from the qty on hand or available qty. The Supply Move order increases the available qty meaning the Qty Available calculation has double the current on hand without new stock coming in.
