Determine Task Sequence For Compensation Orders (Doc ID 1400649.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 05, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Order and Service Management - Version 7.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The user wishes to determine the expected task execution sequence for a compensation order.

Consider this Scenario: There is an order inflight in the system at a point in the process which does not allow amendments to be processed (via the life cycle process amendment transition condition). When submitting an amendment order, the amendment is queued, then the response for the original order is sent which results in a field in the order that is being changed. In turn, this causes the transition condition to evaluate to true and the compensation begins for the amendment.
