Existing Hierarchy Data Listed When Creating New Hierarchy (Doc ID 1401599.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA), when you try to create a new Hierarchy, the blank Hierarchy Definition screen lists data for an existing Hierarchy in the "Show Hierarchy" section.  In the hierarchy interface, you expect to see "Right click here to build tree" but instead data is listed already:



In the example above, "Total Product ID" is an existing node in the Product dimension.

You do not expect to see any data defined already when you go to create a new Hierarchy.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to Financial Services Applications
  2. Go to Dimension Management > Hierarchies
  3. Select the Product dimension and click "Add"

The screen that opens contains existing Hierarchy data under "Show Hierarchy".
