Item Supply/Demand Is Not Properly Working For Move Order Allocation And Move Order Supply (Doc ID 1407620.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 21, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Materials Requirement Planning - Version 12.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On the Inventory Supply Demand form 12.1.1 version:

Find that the onhand available quantity is increased by the Move Order Supply quantity but it is not reduced by the Move Order Allocation quantity in the form.

For a specific item, there is Current On-hand of 1828 and a Purchase Order (Supply) of quantity 1350 so the total on-hand available quantity is 3178.

There are 2 Move Order Allocations with quantities of 500 and 335.

In this case, the Item Supply/Demand form should show an onhand quantity of: 3178 - (500+335) = 2293.

However, the Move Order Allocation is not deducted and it is adding the Move Order Supply as 835.  This results in an onhand quantity of 4013 which is incorrect.
