Case From Image -The Scan Folder Specified In Configuration Does Not Exist (Doc ID 1415228.1)

Symptoms


In Argus 6.0.4, Error Message: "The scan folder specified in configuration does not exist." occurs while trying to create case from image.

Below are the steps followed to configure case from image:

1. Create a shared directory on a common server.

2. In Argus console, system configuration-->system management-->case processing provide the "Default Network directory for scanned images" as "\\<common_server_name>\<shared_directory>"

3. Log in to Argus and try to create a case from image and error occurs.



\\<common_server_name>\<shared_directory>  is accessible from the application server .
Start->Run ->\\<common_server_name>\<shared_directory> works.
