Outlook Connector, Event Subject Is Truncated When Viewing Event

Symptoms
This issue was reported on Outlook Connector 7.3, with Calendar Server 7.
When Outlook Connector is used to view an event in Calendar Server 7, the event Summary is truncated. The event Summary contains Japanese multi-byte characters, and the last Japanese character in the string is not displayed.
This behaviour was observed with some events where the summary begins and/or ends with Japanese characters:
- The event summary is not truncated in the Calendar Server (and is displayed in Convergence 2).
- A snoop shows that the event summary is not truncated in the fetchcomponents.wcap output (response from Calendar Server to Outlook Connector).
- Outlook Connector debug log (sjoc.log) shows the truncated event summary.
