(Doc ID 1446778.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 15, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Convergence - Version 2.0 and laterOracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 7.0.0 to 7.0.4 [Release 7.0.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In Convergence, while using a non-English language interface and trying to rename a folder to an invalid name, an error message in English is given instead of the selected language.*
For example, in the French interface, renaming a folder to "Inbox" gives the following error message in English.
Operation is not supported on mailbox
When attempting the same with pure IMAP commands, the following response will be given :
NO [CANNOT] Invalid mailbox name
Though the error is correctly not allowing an invalid folder name to be created, in this case using a system folder name, the text of the message should be in the selected language or localized.
* Note that there may be other error messages seen in English as well, such as over quota errors etc.
Ex:
Message sent but save copy failed
[OVERQUOTA] Over quota
