Can A Local Document Store Be An NFS Mounted File System? (Doc ID 1452533.1)

Goal

We are planning to deploy two Calendar 7 servers (front-ends) and 2 mysql servers (back-ends).

For the document store, we are wondering: Can we use use an NFS file system for this DB area if we choose a local document store?

We checked the documentation and did not see anything stated with regards to an NFS-mounted file system and whether that would work for a local document store.
Would this be valid?
