How to send order translation fail response message to an upstream System? (Doc ID 1464284.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 27, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications ASAP - Version 5.2.4 to 7.2.0 [Release 5.2 to 7.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

We are not able to send order translation fail response message to an upstream system from ASAP and due to this, the upstream system is showing as waiting for response from ASAP. The translation failure occurs for some of the orders at either SRT or JSRP. Other events such as orderCompleteEvent get sent (forwarded) to the upstream system successfully. The translation fail orders remain in SARM database in status 255. Success and Failed orders are handled properly by custom XSLT.

Based on the above logs, and details of translation map details (Type, Direction type, Dispatch Condition Type, Property Name, Property value) in the SRT cartridge it failed to invoke custom xslt translation failed errors (ASAP RESPONSE message).
