Question About SIGPIPE And ENS Subscribers (Doc ID 1466891.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 15, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 7.0.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

1. If SIGPIPE is masked in an ENS subscriber, will that cause the subscriber to not automatically reconnect to enpd if the daemon is restarted?

2. When ENS events are received, are the event callbacks made sequentially in a single thread, or, if an event is received while a callback is in progress, will the callback for the second event be made in a different thread?
