Memory Usage By Mshttpd Process Is Growing (Doc ID 1483065.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 15, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 7.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Why does it appear that memory usage by mshttpd process is growing?

Example:

Running with Convergence 2 and Glassfish.  When the mshttpd is started the first time, it uses about 20-50mb, and then it slowly increases to sizes of around 2GB. Is this normal? Shouldn't this memory usage decrease when the Application Server itself is shutdown (and then no users are using it)?
