Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)
Symptoms
In Oracle Financial Service Analytical Applications (OFSAA), a custom / user defined dimension to be used as the "product" in ALM or FTP does not have any attributes after registering it using the Leaf Registration procedure. When you create or view a dimension member value, there are no attributes listed under "Member Attributes". They are missing.
Additionally, there are no rows in REV_DIM_ATTRIBUTES_B and REV_DIM_ATTRIBUTES_TL for the dimension's DIMENSION_ID value.
As a result of this issue, the dimension's values cannot be assigned an appropriate Account Type value. The Account Type is usually assigned through the an attribute called "COMMON COA ID". The dimension values are assigned the same Account Type as the referenced COMMON_COA_ID.
