Partition_utils functionality does not provide option to selectively purge the partitions using the start date and end date.

Details:

The partition_utils with purge option does not have a 'start date', so each time when we trigger the script for purging by giving an 'end date', it starts from the oldest partition and scans through the partitions till the current month. In this situation, it would be really helpful if the script could take a 'start date', allowing the user to purge the partitions falling in between a date range.
