How to Find the Original Event For the Adjustment Event Generated By Pin_Rerate Application?
(Doc ID 1502304.1)
Last updated on JULY 24, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.4.0.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
When running re-rating, rerating generates an adjustment event (shadow event) to negate the original event and then update the original event say (cycle_forward) with the adjustment event poid in event_t.rate_obj field shown below
This update happens after the op_rate_pol_post_rating is invoked during the shadow adjustment creation.
Because the adjustment event is different from the original event, there is a need to enrich it with the data obtained from the original event.
Is there a way to find the original event poid for the adjustment event generated during rerating (i.e. a reversed mapping between these two) before the op_rate_pol_post_rating opcode is called?
