(Doc ID 1505278.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 17, 2021
Applies to:
Oracle Communications IP Service Activator - Version 7.0.0 to 7.0.0 [Release 7.0.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Purpose
Huawei devices have a restriction on the length for some of the QOS related names.
The limit for the these names is 1-31 chars. IPSA provides an automated way of handling this limit by modifying the user given names before applying to the device. The current enhancement shall provide a way to the user to configure the exact names for the above-mentioned QoS configurations that will be configured as they are to the device. This way the user given names are preserved and more flexibility is given to the user in naming these configurations.
Scope
This applies to IPSA 7.0 and for Huawei Devices only.
