Symptoms
On : 8.6.4.3347 version, Basic Operations & Functionality
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
No model results are returned after performing a Synchronize job for one model (from the Manage Models screen). Synchronization appears to complete, but View Results returns zero rows. Model does produce result if ran after Global TCG ETL from Datasource screen.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Model should produce the expected result after TCG ETL run either from Model level or Datasource screen.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Created Model.
2. Save and Close. It submits the TCGETL by itself.
3. Ran the model and it did produce the result.
4. Ran the Sync again at model level.
5. Ran the Model and it did not produce any result.
6. Ran the Global TCG Sync from Datasource screen.
7. Ran the Model and it did produce the result.
BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
This makes testing transaction models extremely difficult, as a full Transaction Synchronization needs to be performed each time test transactions are created in the datasource.
