Symptoms
Want to record custom event specific description when a non recurring fee is purchased. We'd then use this event specific description for reporting purpose.
The BRM documentation describes PCM_OP_SUBSCRIPTION_PURCHASE_PRODUCT supports input for PIN_FLD_DESCR whereby DESC is a string field of level zero, can be used for free text purpose. See below the exact description from BRM documentation:

I called the opcode with input
0 PIN_FLD_DESCR STR [0] "Miscellaneous Charge. test from CC"
The product was purchased successfully, but the PIN_FLD_DESCR is empty in the event "/event/billing/product/fee/purchase".
