Goal

In Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) Requirements and Security Assessment Procedures Version 1.2.1 document, there are many requirements for password.

BRM 7.4 supports the PCI DSS items 8.5.13 (Limit repeated access attempts by locking out the user ID after not more than six attempts) and 8.5.14 (Set the lockout duration to a minimum of 30 minutes or until administrator enables the user ID).

For the support of other items like 8.5.10 (7 character password at least), 8.5.11 (require numbers in password) and 8.5.12 (deny the last four passwords) to be done OOB in v7.4 and later it is considered an Enhancement Request.
