Symptoms
Msuserpurge on the Solaris 10 platform, occasionally does not complete and mailboxes are not deleted.
A script was being used by the system administrator to:
- telnet to the Messaging Server host,
- run msuserpurge,
- exit the telnet session.
It was observed that occasionally, the msuserpurge process disappeared without purging or deleting mailboxes.
