Last updated on MARCH 31, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.4.0.0.0 to 7.5.0.0.0 [Release 7.4.0 to 7.5.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The DAT_Listener calls the ACCT_SYNC.deq_event_rc() procedure for de-queuing the business events.
This stored procedure returns an oracle error (ORA-25228) if the queue is empty and a timeout expires (it should be set equal to 5 seconds).
Immediately after that exception the following 4 unexpected errors are raised:
1st) ORA-04043: object acct_sync.deq_event_rc does not exist
2nd) ORA-04043: object acct_sync.deq_event_rc does not exist
3rd) ORA-04043: object acct_sync.deq_event_rc does not exist
4th) ORA-04043: object acct_sync does not exist

Note: the DAT_Listener de-queues all the business events without any problem.
