While following the Oracle Argus Analytics Installation Guide Release 1.1.1, Section 2.3 Preparing the DAC Repository (Informatica Only), on Step 6
the OPVA - DATAWAREHOUSE Execution Plan fails with the following error message:
30 SEVERE Tue Jun 25 07:59:31 PDT 2013 Request to start workflow : 'OPVA:wkf_SDE_AS_Application_User_Enterprise' has completed with error code 2
31 SEVERE Tue Jun 25 07:59:31 PDT 2013
ANOMALY INFO::: Error while executing : INFORMATICA TASK:OPVA:wkf_SDE_AS_Application_User_Enterprise:(Source : FULL Target : FULL)
Request to start workflow : 'wkf_SDE_AS_Application_User_Enterprise' has completed with error code 2
Error Message : The specified task name, workflow name, or folder name does not exist.
Command Used: pmcmd startworkflow -sv OPVA_IS -d Domain_ip-walhs20000 -u Administrator -p **** -f OPVA -lpf /u01/oracle/dacpva/bifoundation/dac/Informatica/parameters//AN_SRC.an_dwh.OPVA.wkf_SDE_AS_Application_User_Enterprise.txt wkf_SDE_AS_Application_User_Enterprise
The 'pmcmd' call made through DAC to start an Informatica workflow uses a switch '-lpf' to provide the
absolute path to the parameter file. While it works for all other operating systems, for Linux it works 'sporadically'.
