Promotion Manager Segments Fail to Match Boolean Profile Tags
(Doc ID 1572920.1)
Last updated on MARCH 27, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 5.0.0 and laterOracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)
Symptoms
Network Charging and Control's (NCC) Promotion Manager allows operators to easily create sophisticated promotions based on segments. Segments are a logical grouping of conditions (All Of, Any Of, Only One Of and None Of) based on Product Types, Wallet States, Wallet Dates, Balance Values and Subscriber Profile Management (SPM) Fields.
Here is an example of a promotion segment screen:
The promotion will be granted if All Of the following conditions are met:
- The Wallet State is one of the selected states
- The Product Type is not one of the selected types
- Either of the two SPM Field checks return true
A bug exists in Promotion Manager where certain boolean SPM options fail to be correctly matched and the promotion will not be applied despite the conditions of the segment all being correctly met.
Changes
Creation of a new promotion with segments based on Boolean SPM Fields.
