Primavera Gateway pdi Deployment Fails to Start With Error "While Trying to Lookup 'jdbc.pdi' Didn't Find Subcontext 'jdbc'" (Doc ID 1585063.1)

Symptoms

After starting P6 Gateway the pdi deployment shows as failed. The following error appears in the weblogic AdminServer.log.

weblogic.application.ModuleException:
