Goal
What is the engine logic to the generation of Identity_Code for allocations? It seems even when the same Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management (PFT) allocation specification is executed for the same date with no change in data of the source, the engine still generates a new identity code. Is this correct?
For example:
Test Case
Rule 1-->Month 1-->Run 1, generates Identity_Code, 11091
Rule 1-->Month 1-->Run 2, generates a new Identity_Code, 11092
2nd month run:
Rule 1-->Month 2-->Run 1, which identity code will it choose to update the month 02 column?
Rule 1-->Month 2-->Run 2, which identity code will it choose to update the month 02 column?
Rule 1-->Month 2-->Run 3, will it generate a new identity code?
If a new identity_code is generated for Month 2, Run 3, then how does PFT track that this rule was executed once, twice and thrice for the month so that next month?
