After Installing NCC 5.0 SDK Package on Solaris 10 Sample Code Fails to Build and Reports "gmake: *** [sdkCallout] Error 1" (Doc ID 1585688.1)

Symptoms

After installing the Network Charging and Control (NCC) version 5.0.0 SDK (Software Development Kit) package, on a prerequisite Solaris 10, Update 10 operating system (OS) server; when attempting to build sample code by running the gmake install command, it fails with the following error messages:
