Duplicate Info Parameters being Returned in the Case Of WO Retries (Doc ID 1587936.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 11, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications ASAP - Version 7.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

If a WO is  resubmitted, the response XML will have two sets of info parameters, i.e., a single response XML will contain duplicate info parameters.

If a WO times out and then changes are made to its info parameters  and the WO is resubmitted, different info parameter values (before/after the changes)  are sent in the response XML. This can cause a mismatch between the upstream system and the network, if they pick the wrong details.

Below is the extract of the order complete event XML which has two sets of <PASSWORD> tags with different values.
