How Can I Remove Certain Users From Appearing In The Corporate Address Book In Convergence 2 or 3 ? (Doc ID 1589119.1)

Goal

Using:  Convergence 2.0-6.01

We have some users that we consider "inactive" and who reside in a separate sub-tree within our Directory Server, as they are former employees or consultants of our company.  Our corporate policy states that these user accounts must be retained for a period of one year.  For these accounts, a "vacation message" is turned on, noting that the user is no longer with our company.  In addition, any incoming mail to these accounts is forwarded to their former manager.  As a consequence, the inetUserStatus attribute must be set to active, or the account will not accept or forward that incoming email.

As a result of all of this, these users are still listed in the Corporate Address Book within Convergence.  Is there a way to prevent Convergence from including these users in the Corporate Directory listing in the Address Book?  Our goal is to prevent other users from seeing these "inactive" users in the Address Book.

As an example, a user who exists in the inactive sub-tree, has an ldif entry including the following:
