Purpose

 This document's purpose is to describe the correspondence between the numeric values of the AVP (Attribute-Value-Pair) types and their human-readable format for the Diameter Control Agent (DCA) or Diameter Charging Driver (DCD).

The numeric values DO NOT MATCH for DCA and DCD, e.g. grouped is 11 for DCA and 6 for DCD.

Scope

 When troubleshooting issues and turning on debug on DCA or DCD, the type of an AVP is often printed out as a numeric value, such as in the following example debug message :

 This document will provide the list of mappings between the numeric values and the human readable format for DCA and DCD.
