Difference In Duration Of Event Between Argus 5.1 And 7.x (Doc ID 1627902.1)

Symptoms


In Argus 5.x, if the event start and stop dates are the same day and no time is added this is calculated as ‘1 day’.

 

However, in Argus 7.0.x, this is calculated as ‘0 minutes’.


If the start and stop date are the same day and no time is added the duration should be equal to '0 min'


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Execute the steps In Argus 5.1 and 7.x to see difference.

  1. Open a random case and go to Events Tab
  2. press '=' on Onset Date/Time then Tab out
  3. press '=' on Stop Date/Time then Tab out
  4. Note Duration of Event
