Encoding Problem When Loading Events With RE Loader (Doc ID 1629760.1)

Goal

Encoding for file coming out of pipeline and being transferred to REL is correct (UTF8), but after being processed by preprocess
script it changes to unreadable data. As result of this REL is failing to load the event to database with error 5002.

Following errors are logged in *.blk.log
