Difference Between Printed Scale And Actual Scale During Rating In The Logs
Last updated on APRIL 08, 2014
Applies to:Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 126.96.36.199.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Below a snippet of the logs generated during rating:
As shown, the value for scale is set as scale=0.166667.
The scale printed on this line is never real but the actual value used in rating is PIN_FLD_SCALE DECIMAL 0.166666666666666
The printed decimals sometimes lack precision compared to the value actually used in the rating.
The result is the confusion to customers about exactly which values being actually used.
