Goal

Information needed on different DEV_TYPE / LINE_TYPE used in ASAP (TBL_COMM_PARAM).

The plan is to add one more NE in Activation Environment which is a Web Service (SOAP/HTTP) based platform. Now, 'G' is being used (i.e. Generic Terminal Based Connection) for most of the NEs that are using Web Service Protocol.

What DEV_TYPE is suggested? Can 'M' (i.e. Generic Message Based Connection) also be used as DEV_TYPE?
What are the differences of using 'M' and 'G' DEV_TYPEs and even the other mentioned in Guides?
