Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2016

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Using Outlook Connector (OC) version 7.3.122.2 and upgraded to OC 8.0.1.0.0

Any subscribed calendar entry containing a German umlaut in the first part, contains an UTF8 -like byte combination - which does not appear in the second part.

For example:
Kalender Martha Tönsmann - Martha Tönsmann(/home/martha.toensmann ...

If you unsubscribe and subscribe again to this particular calendar, it will be shown in the correct way:

Kalender Martha Tönsmann - Martha Tönsmann(/home/martha.toensmann ...
