Change to Product Catalog Item Alias / Item Name NOT Reflected on Existing PSR Orders (Doc ID 1666366.1)

Symptoms

Changes to the Product Catalog Item Alias and Item Name fields are NOT reflected on existing PSR orders.

 

The Product Catalog parent and child product's Item Alias and Item Name values will be changed from v1 to v2.

 

The image below is a PSR order example using the New From feature against the order that was created after the Product Catalog items were changed from v1 to v2.  It illustrates the changes are not applied to previously existing orders associated to the Product Catalog items.  It also illustrates a new change order against those Product Catalog items are copied to the new change order using the original Item Alias value.




STEPS

1. Application Setup

2. Order Management Setup

3. Product Catalog

4. Expand the Product Catalog and click on an item

5. Edit the Item Alias and Name fields and save the changes

6. Verify the changes are not reflected on an existing PSR orders already associated to the catalog item that was changed

7. Enter a new PSR order and verify the change is applied to order
