Applies to:
Oracle Communications Network Intelligence - Version 7.2.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
In the planning process when a Forecast Plan is analyzed, one of the possible output is about suggestions to be built, in order to fulfill the Plan.
The user can decide to proceed creating new objects: Trails, Cards, Equipments.
If the user once the objects have been created, wants to delete the Plan, can easily delete it without any warning about the resources related to it.
If a Plan is deleted without deleting resources, the resources will continue to exists in the system and will be used as routing resources from other demands, following same rules of any other Network resource.
Another possible way of managing the deletion is as follows:
Once a Plan is deleted, the system should also check if there are any resources related to the Plan:
• All the resources in the Plan not used from other entities will be deleted only if these resources are not in “ONI Planned” status;
• All the resources in the Plan used from other entities will not be deleted and can be transitioned in “ONI Planned” status.
If the user want that resources related to a Plan, should not be deleted, even if not used from any other entities, then he can manually set the them to “ONI status” and then delete the plan
Does this deletion mechanism currently exist in the product, and if not, can it be added?
