Unexpected Currency Rounding Issue in FCT_Mainrating (Doc ID 1901658.1)

Consider a scenario which needs to impact currency to the quantity that is coming in the CDR as below:

Details :

•   Suppose the CDR has a quantity of 5.50, the rating configuration has to impact 5.50 * 1.18 = 6.49
•   FCT _Mainrating is rounding 5.50 to 6 and then applying 1.18 * 6.
•   Hence it is charging 6 * 1.18 = 7.08, it is against the expected value of 6.49.

As per pricemodel configuration :

•   Rounding Method = Plain
•   Decimal Places = 5
•   Beat = 1
•   Charge = 1.18
•   Charge Base = 1

Question :

What is the reason of charging (6 * 1.18) instead of (5.50 * 1.18) ?
