After Applying MS Patch Some Android Clients Can No Longer Access Mail via IMAP (Doc ID 1906272.1)

After applying the Messaging Server patch version, users with mobile devices running certain versions of Android are no longer able to access their mail over IMAP.  As an example, this has been seen on some Samsung devices running Android 4.4.2 and may be experienced on other handsets with differing Android versions.

NOTE: Although the problem has not been reported for additional clients, it is possible there are others, including those not running on Android, that might experience this problem.
