Details
The purpose of this document is to provide insight into the planned timeframe of upcoming service packs for the listed Oracle Utilities products.
SERVICE PACK RELEASE FREQUENCY
In general, the timing for service pack releases are planned as follows:
- During the first 2 years after a product release is generally available, service packs are proposed to be made available every 9-12 months
- During years 3-5 after a product release is generally available, service packs are proposed to be made available every 12-18 months
Notes:
- Unless otherwise noted, support is provided for the latest maintenance update. Previous maintenance updates (3rd digit releases) will be supported for six months after the release date of a new maintenance update.
- Once a new service pack is released (4th digit release), product development will only backfit new fixes to the previous service pack for three months. After this time, customers will need to be on the latest service pack to apply new fixes.
- Single fixes are only made available on supported Service Packs.
- Patch bundles (5th digit release) are only made available on supported Service Packs.

The planned timeframe for each service pack will be updated and refined closer to the release date of the service pack.
